Join us this Wednesday, April 28, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. for the Otra Vez + Twice Blushed Trunk Show. The Trunk Show will feature upcycled and reconstructed wedding dresses by Seattle designer Amanda Vernell and recycled jewelry and accessories by Otra Vez.

As you may have noticed, more and more green wedding resources are emerging as eco-conscious brides (and grooms!) are looking for ways to keep their weddings earth-friendly. Twice Blushed turns once-loved bridal gowns into unique, one-of-a-kind art that represents an environmentally conscious approach to the traditional wedding gown. An essential component of a “green wedding”, Twice Blushed gowns are handmade right here in Seattle and range from $300 to $2,000 plus.

This trunk show, sponsored by Fashion Group International, is happening at Vernell’s studio at 5228 20th Ave. NW in Ballard. Cupcakes and champagne will be served. Tickets are $10 for FGI members, $15 for non-members and $5 for students with ID.
